Update August 2009

Hello

I had a scan and it showed some more disease. It is where it always was after my last treatment and I have new hot spots in my neck and pelvis. My right leg has been hurting alot but I have some medicine to help. But it makes me tired and grumpy so sorry if I am not myself.

I am waiting for an appointment to see Dr Gaze at UCHL soon to see if he can help with my disease. I would have mibg therapy which is a type of radiotherapy but for my whole body and I would be in a room for about 5 days twice over and then need my stem cells back.

Please can you sponsor team Hannah who are doing the 3 Peaks challenge on 4th September to raise money to take me to America for treatment, this might be required soon! Team Hannah are also doing the Dragon Boat racing like last year so support them with that too please.

School starts back next week, I have had a great summer, Florida and Center Parcs and camping. And I got to meet the Saturdays pop group!!

See you soon I am off for a sleep

Love Hannah xxxxxx

Hello,
I have been following Hannah's story for few years now and I am really sorry to hear that they found some new hot spots in Hanna's body and I really hope the chemo will help to get rid of those and on the top of that you manage to make the trip to America for the antibody treatment (is that what your are raising money for?)
I wish you all the best in your treatment and I hope you can continue your swimming, brownies, choir and all the activities a 9 year old should do.
Love to you all.
